The meme game that is also somehow one of Roblox's most-played experiences has done it again. On October 3, 2026 at 19:00 UTC, Steal a Brainrot shipped update 69, codenamed "Eclipse + Haunted Fuse," and turned its annual Halloween tradition into a whole haunted lineup of new brainrot characters.
The headline is the Haunted Fuse, a fusion machine that takes four Brainrots and replaces the game's Craft Machine. Its reward pool starts around Epic and runs all the way up to Plant Bros, a Secret that earns a base $300M/s. The machine lists roughly ten Halloween rewards, though the exact number is still mushy across public data. The official event card advertises 9-11 new Halloween brainrots, so treat any precise count with a handful of candy corn.
The better-documented outcomes (via Brainrot Vault) include:

- Mortaruga: Brainrot God, $324K/s
- Los Treaters: Secret, $1.2M/s

Those are base in-game income rates, not trade value, so hold off on offering your whole collection for a Plant Bros just yet.
The "Eclipse" half of the codename is a new mutation with a 14x multiplier. It runs as a half-hour event, is dated October 2, 2026 on the mutation table, and brings a Spin Wheel and an Eclipse Index progression path.
How long does the spooky content stick around? No official end date has been announced. The Roblox event listing page closed on October 7, but that's the listing page, not a confirmed end, and the wiki still lists the Haunted Fuse as ending TBA. For what it's worth, last year the Witch Fuse arrived October 11 and the bigger Frightrot update landed October 25, so a second Halloween wave roughly two weeks after Update 69 is a plausible pattern. That's a guess, not a promise.
October also brings out the weird side of the internet, so two warnings. First, no Halloween-specific redeem codes had surfaced as of October 1; the only code still making the rounds, BESTBRAINROTEVER, gives La Vacca Saturno Saturnita, who is already a character on this wiki. Second, any site promising Halloween brainrots or free Robux in exchange for your password is a scam. That one is not a hedge.
And for collectors still chasing last year's ghosts: 2025 Halloween units like the Headless Horseman are no longer obtainable, with community counts putting roughly 75 in existence. A few later resurfaced in other events, including Tentacolo Tecnico, Zombie Tralala, Eviledon, and Skull Skull Skull.
