Brainrot is a static website that serves plain text articles about the Italian Brainrot meme phenomenon. It is deliberately simple: a flat set of published pages with no interactive features.
What we collect
Nothing — and we're set up so that's not even possible by design. This site:
- Has no user accounts, no logins, no sign-ups and no personal-information forms.
- Sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
- Does not serve content from third-party ad networks.
- Does not sell, share, or transfer any data, because there is no data to share.
Because the site is static (pre-rendered HTML files served directly), it does not run any database or application that could collect or process user data.
What we don't do
- We do not host or embed third-party content that would load tracking scripts.
- We do not reproduce or host the audio/video/images of the memes we write about (a content-choice, not a privacy one — see About).
- We do not knowingly collect data from children. This is a general-interest reference site; if you're a parent, taking a quick look at the type of content described here may actually be the point of the place.
Third-party links
Our articles link out to external sites (such as Wikipedia, Know Your Meme, and the news coverage we cite). Once you leave this site, any privacy protections here no longer apply — check those sites' own policies.
Server-level logs
As with virtually any website, the infrastructure that serves pages may keep routine, technical logs (such as IP address and requested URL) for security and reliability purposes. This is standard server operation and is not used to build profiles or identify individual visitors.
