Fortnite's Italian Brainrot Invasion: Tung Tung & Cappuccina Join the Fray

September 20, 2026

It had to happen eventually. After months of noodles and fever dreams climbing off our phone screens, Epic Games finally waved Italian brainrot into battle royale. On April 1, 2026, Fortnite dropped in-game skins for two of the genre's biggest names: Tung Tung Tung Sahur and Ballerina Cappuccina.

Who Actually Joined the Roster?

First up, Tung Tung Tung Sahur — "Triple T" to those in the know. The anthropomorphic wooden log with the deceptively cheerful grin is a mainstay of Indonesian "Anomali" TikTok, first posted by creator Noxa (@noxaasht) on February 28, 2025. That original clip reportedly racked up more than 31 million views and 2.4 million likes within a month (per Know Your Meme). Tripe T's design even has a fun origin story: the AI model apparently misread a traditional kentongan drum and its club as a stick figure swinging a baseball bat. In Fortnite he translates surprisingly well — all gangly proportions and one very carryable melee.

Alongside him bopped Ballerina Cappuccina, the tutu-wearing coffee cup whose head is, well, the cup. Sources vary on her exact debut — some pin her to a March 2025 TikTok from @aironic.fun — but her lore is pure brainrot gold: a love of ballet, a deep bond with Triple T, and a charm that makes you compulsively hum a looped chant for the rest of your day.

A Crossplay Crossover (with Friction)

Here's where the story stops being all smiles. Epic reportedly licensed the characters through a company called Mementum Labs, which claims ownership after working out a deal with Noxa. That claim set off fireworks across the creator community. Fans voting on Fortnite.gg reportedly ranked the new cosmetics among the game's worst within a day, and a good chunk of players said they'd sooner see every brainrot banned than stomp around as a wooden log. It didn't help that the launch landed in a rough patch for Epic, which had made thousands of layoffs and raised V-Buck prices around the same period.

The legal side got messy, too: in November 2025, Roblox creator SpyderSammy and DoBig Studios — behind the huge "Steal a Brainrot" experience — filed a complaint arguing Mementum didn't actually own these characters. The question of who "makes" an AI meme is very much still being sorted out.

The Verdict

None of that stopped the coin flip from landing on chaos. Within hours of launch, Fortnite's Item Shop bestsellers list reportedly featured both skins (each around 1,500 V-Bucks, with discounted full bundles). A dedicated Discover row even spotlighted Mementum-paired Brainrot islands. Fans who'd been posting "never again" memes apparently broke their own rules in record time.

Whether more brainrot is coming — rumored names like Brr Brr Patapim and Bombardiro Crocodilo keep floating around — is anybody's guess. For now, the biggest takeaway: Triple T and Cappuccina went from grainy TikTok nightmares to fully animated Fortnite icons. That's a glow-up even a log can love.
